When the ball-joint is loosened, the desktop can tilt through an infinite number of positions, or swing down to the side for transfers. The desktop orientation can also be changed from portrait to landscape with the simple twist of a knob. A built-in height adjustment also allows you to raise the surface an additional two inches.

There are no special tools required to install the desk top. The brackets are secured with Allen screws, and an Allen wrench is included in the mounting kit. Also includes the Velcro kit to mount a laptop computer on the Mydesc.

The Mydesc 900 consists of the desktop, a wheelchair mounting bracket, and a 90 degree elbow assembly. Because the 90 degree elbow allows for distance adjustments, the Mydesc provides excellent flexibility with desktop positions. The wheelchair mounting bracket will mount vertically or horizontaly on straight tubing from 3/4" to 1-1/4" dia.

Product Summary
The Fliptop provides a flixible, convenient work surface for anyone who needs a place to store the computer and/or supplies. The large acrylic work surface is sturdy enough to support up to 25 lbs., and the desktop lifts to reveal a hidden storage compartment.
Because the Fliptop has dual ball-joint supports,it caneasily shift to the right or the left to clear power controls. It tilts for reading and writing, or remains flat for eating. When the desktop is lifted out of the left ball-joint, it can also swing out and down to the side for transfers.
The Fliptop is simple to remove. When not in use, the ball-joint supports can be easily removed from the wheelchair by unscrewing the tightening knob, leaving just the mounting brackets on the wheelchair frame.

The Fliptop consists of the desktop, two wheelchair mounting brackets that are attached to the right and left sides of the wheelchair. Please specify width of wheelchair when ordering (eg. 14", 16" or 18").

The wheelchair mounting brackets will mount vertically or horizontaly on straight tubing from 3/4" to 1-1/4" dia. To mount the Fliptop on curved or diagonal parts of the wheelchair frame, order two Angular Mounting Brackets.
