Devices". They are pre-configured to meet the new Medicare standards effective
July 1, 2001.
*** Medicare Funded SGDs (HCPCS Code: E2510): In accordance with Medicare rules, the Communicators are shipped as "dedicated" speech devices and only the Gus! Multimedia Speech System (SGD Software) is available to the user. In order to gain access to MS Windows, customers must purchase a separate MS Windows license at a cost of $25 which is NOT covered by Medicare. |
